A story of homeπ€
Mavie was born between two homes.
The one where I grew up, in Morocco.
And the one I'm building today in France.
When I left Morocco to build my life in France, I thought I was simply changing countries. I didn't yet know that a part of me would always seek to find a little bit of home in the details of everyday life: a cup, a material, a set table, a light, a smellβ¦
I began to understand that sometimes, feeling at home doesn't depend on where you live, but on what you choose to bring into it.
That's how Mavie was born.
I wanted to create objects that resemble me, that retain something of the Morocco I love, while simply integrating into the life I lead today.
Pieces imagined with love, crafted in Morocco, and destined to travel far beyond its borders.
Because deep down, we all have a little piece of home that we'd like to be able to take everywhere. π²π¦
